The PVC wire coating machine, also known as a PVC plastic extruder, is an integrated piece of equipment composed of a series of modules including the main unit, vacuum device, water tank, haul-off, and winder. This equipment is mainly used for processing PVC-coated wire. Through a single-screw extrusion system, heated and melted PVC pellets are uniformly coated onto the surface of iron wire or galvanized wire. PVC Wire Coating Process:

Step 1: Feeding. The metal wire on the pay-off reel enters the production line at a constant speed through the haul-off device.

Step 2: Pretreatment. The machine performs necessary straightening and cleaning on the metal wire to ensure the wire surface is free of stains and impurities, so it does not affect the coating process.

Step 3: Feeding and Plasticizing. The operator adds an adequate amount of PVC pellets into the hopper. The screw rotates continuously, pushing the PVC pellets into the barrel. The barrel gradually heats up according to preset parameters, melting the plastic pellets inside and turning them into a softened melt.

Step 4: Coating. The metal wire passes through the center hole of the die head. The melted PVC is extruded from the gaps around the die head and evenly coats the surface of the metal wire, forming a plastic protective layer.

Step 5: Cooling. The coated PVC wire enters the water tank and is cooled in the water flow.

Step 6: Winding. The cooled PVC wire is pulled out by the haul-off machine, cut to a fixed length, and wound into coils.
