Compact structure, space-efficient design

Customizable machine dimensions

The length of the collecting shaft can be customized according to the length of the bale tie wire. For example, if you want to produce 1.5m cotton bale tie wire, the collecting shaft should be approximately 1.5m to 2m long. If you want to produce 6m cotton bale tie wire, the collecting shaft will need to be longer than 6m, and the overall machine length will increase accordingly.

Simultaneous bending and forming process

From feeding to output, the entire cotton bale tie wire production process is completed by the machine, with workers only needing to handle and pack the finished products. Cotton bale tie wire production process:

Step 1: Feeding and straightening. The wire enters the machine and passes through the built-in straightening unit, where it is stretched into a flat and straight condition.

Step 2: The machine cuts the wire to a preset length.

Step 3: The wire drops down to the position beneath the collecting shaft.

Step 4: Bending and forming. The forming units on both sides of the machine simultaneously bend the two ends of the wire according to the mold shape, producing the cotton bale tie wire.

Step 5: A handle-shaped ejection device beneath the collecting shaft ejects the formed cotton bale tie wire, which then falls onto the floor.

Step 6: Finished product display.

FAQ

1.I noticed that the cotton bale tie wire samples shown on the product page all look quite similar, with nearly identical loop shapes. If I need cotton bale tie wire with a different loop shape, can this machine produce it?

Answer: The shape of the cotton bale tie wire can be adjusted through molds. You can specify your specific requirements when making an inquiry and attach a picture of the target product - our technical team will provide a detailed evaluation. If you only need to adjust the curvature, length, or opening position of the loops, these modifications can generally be accommodated.

2.Can the cotton bale tie wire produced by this machine be used for bundling building materials, sheets, or heavy goods?  

Answer: No. Cotton bale tie wire is typically made of carbon steel or galvanized steel. It is not elastic, and its tensile strength and abrasion resistance are limited, making it insufficient to withstand the impact of heavy goods. Using it improperly could lead to breakage. This type of bale tie wire is only suitable for bundling lightweight expandable fiber materials such as cotton, synthetic fibers, and used clothing.

3.Are the prices the same for all cotton bale tie wire processing machines?

Why are most cotton bale tie wires made with galvanizing or phosphating treatment?

Cotton bale tie wire, also known as Quick link bale ties, is a practical bundling tool. Its pre-formed loop design at both ends helps improve bundling efficiency, allowing workers to manually tie and secure bundles without the need for additional tools. At the same time, the production process is relatively simple - requiring no additional crimping or welding, only bending at both ends of the wire - which also helps lower production costs and makes it more popular in the market.

In actual production, we find that most cotton bale tie wires are made of high-carbon steel wire, with the surface pre-treated by galvanizing or phosphating, while ordinary iron wire is rarely used. Why is that?

●High-carbon steel wire provides higher tensile strength than iron wire - approximately 1400-1700 N/mm². When bundling expandable fiber materials, this high tensile strength is essential for securing the bundle, something that iron wire can hardly achieve.

● Cotton bales face demanding environmental conditions during storage and transportation, such as moisture, sunlight, and rain. Untreated iron wire is prone to rust and corrosion. Galvanizing forms a dense zinc coating on the steel wire surface, effectively isolating air and moisture and providing strong rust resistance. Phosphating, on the other hand, creates a micro-porous crystalline film on the wire surface, improving oil retention and frictional stability - ensuring that the loops stay securely fastened without slipping or loosening.

●After galvanizing or phosphating, the steel wire surface is coated with a smooth and even metallic layer that will not snag or damage the packaging equipment. Iron wire, on the other hand, tends to develop burrs or rust spots after corrosion, significantly shortening its service life compared to high-carbon steel wire.
