1.9–2.55mm Electric Galvanizing Wire Production Line / Galvanized Steel Wire Production Line

Galvanization is a common surface treatment technology primarily aimed at preventing rust. After being treated by the galvanizing process, the steel wire takes on a bright silver appearance, offering high toughness and corrosion resistance, and its service life is greatly extended, making it resistant to oxidation and deformation in open-air environments. Galvanized steel wire is strong, durable, and extremely versatile; it can be used to make springs, nails, coat hangers, wire ropes, as well as for weaving fences, wire mesh, floral tying materials, and more, holding high application value in industrial mining, building protection, agricultural planting, and other fields.

Galvanized wire is divided into hot-dip galvanized wire and cold galvanized wire (electric galvanized wire). The hot-dip process involves applying a fluxing agent to the surface of the steel wire, then immersing the wire into molten zinc solution; after cooling, an alloy coating forms on the wire surface. Hot-dip galvanized wire has a thicker zinc layer, offering stronger corrosion resistance, with a maximum zinc content of up to 350 g/m². The cold galvanizing process uses electrolytic equipment, applying positive and negative electrodes to the steel sheet and the plating solution respectively, causing zinc atoms to deposit onto the steel surface and form an alloy coating. Electric galvanized wire has a thinner zinc layer, typically only 10 to 50 g/m². However, the strength and performance of electric galvanized wire are not affected by heat treatment, and the process is relatively simpler with lower production costs. Both hot-dip galvanizing and electric galvanizing have their respective advantages.

The water washing tank is responsible for repeatedly cleaning the iron wire during the electroplating process, effectively removing residual acidic and alkaline solutions, electrolytes, and other impurities from the surface. This prevents contamination of the solutions in subsequent treatment tanks and ensures coating adhesion and surface quality. It is a critical step in guaranteeing the uniformity and corrosion resistance of the galvanized layer.

The electroplating tank acts as a container for the electrochemical reaction. Under the action of direct current, zinc ions are uniformly deposited onto the steel wire surface, forming a corrosion-resistant, aesthetically pleasing, and functional zinc coating. It is the most critical process unit in the galvanizing production line.

10. Inverted Coil Take-up Machine for 20 Wires

Each wire winding machine is equipped with a wire drawing mold, capable of compressing wire diameters to 0.15-0.2mm.

Electroplating Wastewater Treatment Equipment (Optional)

The operation of an electric galvanizing wire production line generates a large amount of wastewater, which is laden with heavy metal ions such as zinc, iron, nickel, chromium, as well as oil and impurities left over from wire cleaning. This wastewater is harmful to the environment and must be filtered and purified in appropriate equipment before discharge.

The integrated wastewater treatment equipment produced by our factory measures 4000mm in length, 1400mm in width, and 2000mm in height, and is made of PP environmental engineering sheets. The equipment mainly uses pressure filtration, sand filtration, and carbon filtration to separate harmful substances from the wastewater. Through processes such as homogenization, neutralization reaction, and solid-liquid separation, the system removes cake-like impurities, ensuring that the treated effluent meets environmental discharge standards. Using electroplating wastewater treatment equipment is an important guarantee for achieving green production.

Electroplating Exhaust Gas Treatment Equipment (Optional)

The core objective of the exhaust gas treatment equipment is to capture and purify various gaseous pollutants generated during production, especially the "acid mist" produced in the galvanizing process. The electroplating exhaust gas treatment equipment manufactured by our factory adopts an enclosed collection method to capture acidic exhaust gases in real time, and is equipped with a PP spray tower that uses alkaline liquid spray as a neutralization method. After spray treatment, the gas passes through an activated carbon adsorption device to further remove trace residual harmful components, ensuring that the final emissions meet environmental standards.
